The breakfast was wonderful, all freshly cooked top quality produce which was beautifully presented. The hotel was immaculate in every area with caring attention paid to every little detail throughout. Beautifully decorated with modern, comfy lounge/ bar area. Our bedroom was large and bright with nice fresh modern decor. The staff could not have been more polite or helpful. The grounds were well maintained and there was ample parking. A gem of a hotel which I wholly recommend.

Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, clean, the rooms are very nice, lovely breakfast, just an all round wonderful stay. I have stayed here a few times now after staying at other hotels in the area and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed. Very quiet and welcoming, ideal place for someone travelling alone as you are made to feel welcome and at ease by the staff. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Fantastic 'mine host' on arrival, chatty and enthusiastic about our stay and what awaits us. The decor overall in every room we saw was well planned with lots of 'wow factor'. We had been reserved a table for breakfast over looking the garden which was great . The cooked breakfast was hearty and plentiful, many different options and with plenty of fresh coffee, tea and toast.

- Breakfast great for gluten free. Toast grilled separate to avoid contamination. Was great to have the option of a sausage as usually you can be told that the sausages are not gluten free. The mushrooms were so yummy! - Comfy bed & bedding. The room felt very cosy & I loved the old Victorian feel to the building. - Staff were absolutely lovely :)
