Very pleasant check-in, receptionist showed me to my room and was very helpful and friendly. Also helpful with arranging a drink; she was attentive and aimed to make me feel welcome - so it felt. This property's style and interior makes yiu think back of time gone by. The wooden structure above the staircase, the interior design (e.g. 1950/60s style mirrors in bathroom and bedroom, wallpapering, taps, shape/layout and dimensions of rooms), these aspects seem to have been kept in place to preserve that time. Everything is in working order and everything was very clean. Some proportiesmget that last bot worng - this one succesfully combines that older style with grat cleanliness. The breakfast was lovely, with attentive staff looking after you. Great coffee, full-on Full English in, again, a very clean breakfast room. Can't complain. I would come back if I was in the area or near the area; it would merit a bit of a detour.

Friendly receptionist (Brown hair, glasses -working 23rd June), easy check in and allowed us to check in slightly earlier too, the receptionist walked us up to the room which I thought was a nice touch. Room was so spacious and the most comfiest bed we've slept in. Everything was really clean and the breakfast was nice too. Free car parking. We paid just short of £140 for a room, I think this is great value for money and would have happily paid more for this! Thank you :)

Beautiful house with exquisite decor, extremely comfortable bed and helpful friendly staff. Our bedroom was airy with 2 large windows and chaise lounge, so much larger than expected, huge bed which i can say gave me the best nights slepp ive had in a long time. excellent value for money. Full English breakfast which was delicious.

Very friendly and helpful all the time. High rate of flexibility over our stay Quiet hotel with very good beds Since our travelarrangement brought us earlier as expected to the hotel they extraordinary arranged a superb breakfast for us and was over our expectations. Can only recommend this hotel

The staff were fantastic, especially Marco who was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lady at breakfast was lovely too and the breakfasts were gorgeous, my friends said some of the best scrambled eggs they have ever had. The hotel and room were spotless and very comfortable.
